1. Put the sentences (A-D) in order to complete the conversation. Then practice it in pairs.

Tom: That's cool. Do you think you and your sister have different perspectives on things compared to your parents and grandparents?

John: Definitely. We want to make our own decisions and have our own ideas about things. But we also respect the opinions of our elders and try to learn from them.
