Answer:
There are several reasons why people go abroad to work. Some of them are:
1. Economic reasons: Many people go abroad to work because they can earn more money than in their home country. This is particularly true for people from developing countries who may not have many job opportunities or may be paid low wages in their home country.
2. Educational opportunities: Some people go abroad to work because they want to gain new skills or knowledge that may not be available in their home country. They may want to learn a new language, study at a prestigious university, or gain work experience in a particular field.
3. Adventure and cultural experiences: For some people, going abroad to work is a chance to experience new cultures, meet new people, and see new places. They may want to explore a new country, try new foods, and learn about different ways of life.

I'd like to know what experience is required for this job.
Previous experience in a café or restaurant is preferred, but not essential.
May I ask what personal qualities you are looking for in candidates?
We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.
I'd be interested to know what the hours of work are and what the salary is.
The hours of work are flexible, but usually, you will be required to work on weekends. The salary is competitive and depends on experience.

(Lần lượt làm bài tập 6. Sử dụng câu hỏi và câu trả lời đã chuẩn bị ở bài tập 7)
I saw a job advert for ... and I was wondering if I could discuss it with you.
Answer:
I'm interested in the waiter or kitchen staff positions. Could you tell me what the job involves?
Certainly. As a waiter, your main responsibility would be to greet customers, take their orders, and serve them. You would also need to keep the tables clean and tidy. As a kitchen staff, you would be responsible for preparing food and ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean and organized.
That sounds interesting. What experience is required for these positions?
For the waiter position, we prefer candidates with previous experience in customer service or hospitality. For the kitchen staff position, previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but it's not essential. We provide training for all new employees.
I see. What personal qualities do you think are important for these positions?
Good communication skills, being able to work in a team, and a positive attitude are all important qualities for both positions. As a waiter, you should also be friendly and have good customer service skills.
That makes sense. And what are the hours of work and the salary for these positions?
We have flexible hours for both positions, but the café is open from 8 am to 6 pm. The salary will depend on your experience and performance, but it starts at £8.50 per hour.
Thanks for letting me know. One more thing, I'd be interested to know if accommodation is included.
I'm sorry, but we don't provide accommodation for our employees. However, we can recommend some affordable options in the area.
Thanks for your time and for answering all my questions. I'll definitely consider applying for one of these positions.
